My interests delve into the realms of absurd human narratives, weaving the expectations of the individuals within our expansive, contemporary social networks. My focus lies in refining the expression of transparency within our relationships and personal boundaries.

Intricate, maximalist ecosystems take shape as poorly rendered, unbalanced worlds by way of painting, sculpture and installation. I utilize painting as a means of preliminary world building to document medleys of memory, anxiety and aspirations. Materials hard and soft give way to transparent billowy layers, obsessive mark making and object manipulation. Much of my sculptural and installation works are transitional. Incorporating metals alongside banal pieces of refuse and custom-created bioplastics, I develop over-engineered chattels and records of place held to the trappings of time.
